History:
Abujar Ghiffari College is a traditional college located in Malibagh, Dhaka. The college was established in 1986. The college is named after Hazrat Abujar Ghiffari, one of the beloved Companions of the Prophet Muhammad of Islam. The founder of the college is Professor Shahed Ali. The college offers BBA professional subjects in addition to higher secondary, degree pass courses, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college is affiliated to the National University.
Overview:
The present venue of the college is 192/1 Malibagh, Dhaka on about seven acres of land owned by a donation from the then-president General Hossain Mohammad Ershad. The existence of college cannot be thought without the strong interference for the great humanitarian leader of the nation late Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Vashani at the moment of crisis.
Although this institution has gained a lot of undoubtedly not the ending of its vision. So, as per the master plan and today’s demand, it has to go some more steps ahead.
